DDR days are limited now, transition is moving over to DDR2 and that will be our focus for the coming months....

Its days are numbered, its only AMD keeping it alive and when they move to AM2 they're killing off S939 chip production.

I hope AM2 is worth moving to DDR2 then. I want a performance increase for my greens.

Its not going to be much of a boost tbh, the AMD64 platform doesn't need a lot of memory bandwidth. If the latencies of DDR2 come down we'll see some gains, but at the moment its nothing very exciting.
