I need to send off for my passport very shortly. Is anyone aware if the postal strike will effect the 'check and send' service or sending off the forms in general?

TIA.

i sent my passport off today check and send with the post office the woman said it should be back to me in 2 weeks maybe a little longer but if its not back by then to ring a number !

i would suggest you do it now and use the check and send service only costs £7 but atleast u'll know if anything is wrong before you send it instead of getting it back 2 weeks later and then gotta send again :)

ex Post Office Counters here.

check & send goes via Special Delivery which is the same Special Delivery that the public has access to.

So, whether the PO sends it or you do, it doesn't make the slightest bit of difference.

i sent my passprt off on monday and got it back today :)

that is service for you and they even have a strike on !

altho it was only a renewal from a kid to an adult passport !

like people have said, its still special delivery

BUT

The strike hits some areas and not others, so it could get there quick or not if the case maybe
