Tel you something, £265 for a service of a watch sounds incredible to me.
.
I believe a service on my JLC costs about £800 and takes at least 3 months

What do they actually do? 0_o
I don't know what automatics Feek has owned, but whenever I've gone into a watch shop and looked at a stopped automatic, a couple of shakes from the salesman has brought them back to life, same as my Planet Ocean.
heard of them but never used them
is it still running ?
Have a look at Chris Heal or watches.co.uk
surely you should just take it back to where you bpught it from though

Rotty could i ask you, is this watch any good? I really like it![]()
Without meaning to sound at all off, that is just an electronic watch which will do what it says on the tin. There is no "good" or "bad" to be had on a watch like that![]()
How often do watches need a service - the Omega site says 4-5 years, depending on use. So if I wore a watch most days, that'd be a good time bracket to use? Are there key signs which indicate a service would be a good idea (something could start appearing a couple of years in, for example)?
yes, its a peice of electronics rather than a watch in the true sense, if it's worth it to you then that's great

I have an X-Lander, it's never gone wrong!

So nothing extra can go wrong if you just leave the service until something goes wrong? As in, there won't be any problem that destroys the watch, that would have been picked up by a service? (Overly dramatic, maybe, but you see what I mean!)
You can get a pedestal thing you put the watch on at night and it "shakes" it for you

They might run for a few seconds but that's far from being wound.
There's no way a five second shake will give an automatic watch enough of a wind to start.
