They are genuine Ford bumpers. I bought them from a guy on a forum who had..... taste issues and decided his mint silver ST24 would look far nicer with a huge wing and a streetfighter bodykit. I bought both front and rear bumpers, and sideskirts, for £190.

Sold them on Ebay. Including the front fogs, I got a total of £150 for them.

Nice little 40 quid upgrade I think:

They were already silver but the front bumper had stonechips, so I had the front bumper, bonnet and wings resprayed.

Under normal circumstances, expect to pay between £100 and £150 each for genuine front and rear bumpers, and £100 for the skirts.

i just got a mondeo

2.0 T red ghia not X :/

but it was quite cheap at 800 pounds so with a few upgrades i think it will look nice they look bland with out the RASP imo

They do look awfully bland without RSAP - as the photograph of my car the day I collected it shows. Not ugly, but they don't stand out. It's simply another car.

However, IMHO, add RSAP and they really look good.

do you know which fogs/spot lights id have to get for the RSAP

Yes - the RSAP takes its own type of fogs. You cannot use the fogs off the standard Mk2 Mondeo bumper. They are also quite expensive - mind you so are the normal ones, mine went for £46 on Ebay.

FWIW its the same foglight as the Vectra GSi. Oh the shame ;)

The standard Mondeo looks horrible but the kit make so much difference it looks great

How much was the respray?

Got mine done by a local place, front bumper, wings, bonnet, grill, wing mirrors and rear bumper for £350 cash in Ford Dark Aubergine Pearlescent. Basically a stonechip removal affair so car now looks pretty mint.

That is very very cheap, wish i could find a spary shop that do work for those prices!

Whats the quality of the job like, just like the factory paint / finish?

Yes I admit it's cheap and I know prices vary massively place to place. This shop is local to me and I found them by phoning ford when my missus's front bumper got reversed into so as she wasn't paying I wanted ford to spray it. Turns out my local Ford don't have a booth so use this other guy who comes very highly reccomended and after the job on mine I can see why. The paint on my bumper and grill was like the surface of the moon due to 80k of stone chips and cheap ford paint so I know he must not only have sprayed it but spent a fair bit of time doing prep work, he also sorted out some rusting on my wings where mudflaps(prior to the rsap) had cut into the paintwork and sorted out a bit of paint damage on the rear bumper where it had been nudged. Because this guy does all the ford jobs he gets all the proper paint and is familiar with the cars as well as having to do work to a high standard :)
and at those prices I needn't worry about the odd scratch every now and again as I'll just take it in and get sorted now :)

I'll agree to this.

I see a Mondeo and think... bleugh... boring rep car. I see a RSAP'd Mondeo and it ALWAYS gets a second look. I think they look awesome!

I've said it once and I'll say it again, Fox, you've got a lovely car! :)
