Far cry 2 was playing fine up until the other day. When i loaded up my save it randomly had poor textures, and massive leaves on vegetation. When i say massive i mean they aren't small little leaves anymore but solid blocks of square that look about the same size as the entire tree itself.

Anybody know how to sort it? Tried fresh drivers for video and sound (thought i'd try) and i'm wanting to know if theres any easy way of sorting before i re-install the game.

Ati issue I think, happened to me too when I first got the game. Problem was sorted by a simple driver update. Which video driver are you using?

Performance is pretty good, though the sun rays still fit the way the leaves are supposed to be rather than the new funky ones.

I think i installed the latest drivers that were available a few weeks back. The number eludes me but its a couple of versions after they introduced the fan speed options.

7.14.10.0636 is whats brought up in gpuz.

yeah seems a driver update is in order. are you running the latest 1.02patch?

What does it say in the software information tab in the catalyst control centre? it should say 8.12/9.1/9.2...etc.

That looks epic...but seriously, not had any issues with my 8800gts all the way through the game so possibly a driver issue or bug of some sort. Just give it time ;)

Odd that the grass alpha blending works yet the trees don't. Maybe a game reinstall if the graphics driver update doesn't work.

Sorry, i was going to post earlier but forgot. I shoved the new 9.13's on and everythings back to normal now.

Drivers didn't fix the people hear me from 3000 miles away and chase me down for no reason glitch though :(
