far cry 2 problem

im having a major problem with this game, i need to get to mikes bar to get malaria tablets but i follow the signs and drive there but i get half way get malaria tablets and collaspe and have to start again.
i have done this about 5 times now and this is the begining of the game can someone please advise me on what im doing wrong?

sometimes if you stop still the malaria attack can stop, however, normally you press M i think to take some tablets (if you already have some).

I'll load it up when I get home and have a look.

Well you press H, to get out the tablets and either take one or see that they are empty.

You will have to go back to an older save game. Also I woudn't waste your time trying as I'm sure when you get to mikes bar some bloke just says "ahh you want malaria tablets? Well, as this if far-cry2, you will have to go to the place on your map" which as as ever, is AT THE OPPOSITE CORNER of the whole map"

Soemtimes you need to take a lot before malaria attack stops

im at the start of the game so i have no malaria tablets so looks like i have to revert back to a saved game,bloody stupid as i havent hardly done a thing yet in the game yet,stunning graphics but if the gameplay is like this all the time will be uninstalling very soon

Well you must have done quite a bit if your malaria is that bad. It clearly says in the missions menu you need to go and see a doctor as soon as possible to sort your malaria. User error IMO.

You've done something wrong, or you're missing something then. It's H to take a Malaria tablet when needed, the game won't let you die from Malaria before you have tablets...

in this case you need to go back in saves. I dont rememeber when you get them but you definately get them at the beginning i one of you first conversations..

if i remember correctly isnt it like the first little job you do for the reporter at mikes bar?
