Hi,

I recently got this, and have been playing for about an hour or so now. My question is this, do they ever stop shooting you!? i mean ever?

Every guard post i have been through, they shoot me... every village i see... they shoot me, and follow me in cars which magically appeared behind me!

Please tell me they stop shooting at me eventually :(

Quick answer - No

Long Answer - No they do not :D

oh boooo,

Actually that is actually quite off putting. Although its quite cool watching pulling bullets from your own arm! :D

I would say its worth £17.99, would be good if there were some more people to interact with. For example villagers leaving the war zone or coming across a small village.

I usually only play an hour or so at a time. a lot of the missions seem very similar, although they can be tackled in different ways. A good method is setting fire to the brush and picking off the enemy as they are forced to leave cover.

Also keep 2 or 3 saves going as I had to restart the game after 4 hours of play. This was caused by completing a mission, but the objectives were not updated, so I could not move onto the next one.

Hmmm, imo it's worth £17.99, but there are games around for very similar amounts of money that are worth so much more. I'm setting it aside as a summer drought game.

This game seems very much to follow Ubisofts trend at the minute. Great idea and nice to play but becomes boring about half way through as it's repetitive and lacks content. Just like Assassins Creed & Prince of Persia :(

I really tried to enjoy this game, but it somehow seemed empty, half finished in the gameplay dept, graphics are stunning though.

save your money and get fallout 3 instead! awesome awesome game.

i do have farcry 2 though... ive done the first couple of missions and already feeling a bit bored, and the fact that every damn checkpoint a jeep magically spawns behind me shooting me! the explosions are great though :D and i love my RPG, specially against those damn jeeps. bit disappointed with the default assault rifle im stuck with though...

I enjoyed the first 5 hours or so greatly. However, I hate the fact that the missions objectives are always on the opposite side of the map. I actually HATE being given a new mission because of the thought of spending 20 minutes getting there and fighting my way through 3 or 4 checkpoints.

Tip: Travel on a boat to reduce the amount of conflicts you get into.

I still like it, and for £17.99 I would say it is worth it, however I will either never complete it, or not complete it for about 18 months or so.

Farcry 2 started off great imo but then just started getting tedious and boring as contiunously do the same old thing throughout. Wouldnt say it was a bad game though, like Assassins Creed, the awesome initial hours make it still worth the play overall.
