Dont look anything like Crysis, its in Africa like plains, dust and mudhuts etc, makes change from ussual Tropical Jungles.

i thought crysis was the successor to far cry

obviously not, the bushes on crysis seem a little more detailed but i like the concept of the gameplay, looks good fun, and also looks like everyones trying to get away from this linear gameplay.

Ubisoft are making FarCry2, it was really Crytek who made FarCry for them and now making Crysis.

The fact that unlike Crysis they've decided to ditch the stupid aliens/monsters thing makes a big difference as well.

Starting to look forward to this a lot more than Crysis.

normally in this situation id side with the original developer but it sounds like Far Cry 2 is going to be very good. i have no doubt Crysis will be good as well but for some reason i have less doubts about Far Cry 2.

I've always appreciated the graphic demos and screenshots of crysis but never really been interested in it since they showed of their super-power suit with crazy jump, punch and speed modes.

This on the other hand looks like the sort of game i'd quit an MMO for

I only wish that there is an ability to play the single player game with a buddy over the net or LAN to fully make the most of the ability to plan and co-ordinate your actions.
