Far Cry 3 - Tips Please!

Come to think of it, I'm not sure I even got the full tattoo. But I completed the game. Might be time for a re-play!
 
If you like the random encounters with enemies in cars and patrolling (who doesn't like this?) then don't take over the safehouses - this will stop there being enemy patrols in that territory.

That's good to know! I'm enjoying sniping boat patrols at the moment, they don't have a clue without line of sight and silenced bullets

I forget the name of it, but there is a mod that allows you to choose whether or not to capture an outpost
 
Sneaking round the camps setting up mines, then luring the guards to them by throwing rocks.

Shooting the petrol containers from a distance with the sniper rifles when the guards walk past them.

Do all the side missions - they add fun.

There's a lot of re-play value in FC 3. Can't remember what I paid, but even at full launch price I wouldn't feel cheated.
 
I've set myself the aim of clearing every camp without detection, 5 done so far

I've spent hours just flying around on the gliders looking at the scenery, looks so epic on my 40" TV
