As title TBH, I am looking for another FPS game, and this seemed to fit the bill, as I loved FC on the PC...

What is it like online? was thinking of buying it thursday or friday, after I have done a bit more in Oblivion...

Have you played instincts on XBOX?

If you didnt play the original i would definately get it.

Ive just finished the the instincts story, theres 2 stories in the game instincts and Evolved!!!

At first you will not like it like many of us who bought it, but when you get into it you begin to love it, i thought it was ace, superb vehicle levels.

I love the intergration of the cut scenes where your in the cut scene through Jack Carvers eyes.

Ive just started the Evolved story and it is not as linear as the Instincts story.

I would get it!!! You can always return it.

How would you rate the controls in comparison to GRAW and PDZ ?

I thought it was terrible but thats only my opinion. The controls were a nightmare and online it looked even worse. Definately not a next gen title. Loved it on the pc for the single player at the time, multiplayer was never all that tbh. I took it back after a week of trying to get used to it and i tried hard to like it :(

The controls do seem a bit weird, the only way I can describe it is that it seems as if there is a slight delay between you pushing a direction and your character moving, it's only a very slight delay but it something I don't get with CoD2, PDZ, BF2. Even worse is that the graduated movement increase is rubbish, i.e. if you move the stick a little bit it turns slow, as you move it a bit more it moves still at the same slow speed, until a certain point when it suddenly moves quickly.

It's difficult to explain but the controls are pretty bad compared to all the other FPS I've played on 360. Having said that, I went from thinking this game was naff to actually enjoying it.

I'm playing it now and loving it. Yes the controls are difficult to grasp at first, but once you get used to them I actually think they're pretty good.

Visually nothing special at all, graphics are very good, but no where near next-gen (although the water effects are very very good!).

It's a good game. Can't say anymore or any less really, if you don't expect much and aren't too fussy about having your next-gen console playing a current-gen looking game, then you'll be happy.

Next-gen just means 'next generation of consoles'. Indirectly that means better graphics, but it doesn't explicitly say super duper eyeball fall out of sockets graphics.

Like the new generation of humans wandering around right now. Being so young they're more a drain on the planet than a positive effect. That may change though.
