Quite intrigued, I know nothing about the game. Trailers have a bit of a Twin Peaks/Fargo vibe going on.

Looks almost certainly a Wild West setting to me with that Church style building. Be interesting to see how it works.

Redneck music at the end suggests wild west setting?

Hoping so, don't fancy another modern day Far Cry.

From what I've seen and read it's about a religious cult in modern day Montana. From the chapel picture it could be mid to late 20th century (gas/oil bottle) or it could be now. Guess we'll find out on Friday! Not looking like the old west though.

That would be alright in my mind, maybe something from the 70s, as long as it's not present day i'll be happy.

I'd still probably buy it if it was modern day, love me a bit of Far Cry.

70's would be cool. Same though I always buy Far Cry games so I'll buy it day one whatever the setting/time period.

i've got a feeling this will be great. Maybe a bit of a true detective vibe going on?

they don't look live action to me, you can see flickering etc. Look at the grass in the field...it definitely looks animated (the way it's swaying in the wind). Where did you read it was filmed footage?

Loving the vignettes, totally missed the female floating down the river first time around. The guy running away from someone in the field was the best, imo.
