Far Eastern Delight?

If you had the choice which island would you visit out of these? We have two weeks in February.

Koh Samui
Krabi
Langkawi

If you had to spend a few days in far eastern city, which out of these would you choose and why?

Bangkok
Singapore
Kuala Lumpur

bangkok was quite cool place, the palace was amazing, theres a floating market (goto the real one outside bangkok) but really congested.

In terms of other two, ill ask my sis, she lived in Kuala Lumpur for a few months & visited singapore

Koh Samui is beautiful, dont know about the other two, never been there.

Can't really comment on the islands, but out of the cities it would have to be Singapore - because :

• Bangkok is supposed to be really polluted - I'd rather see more remote parts of Thailand
• Got food poisoning when I went to KL , although I was only there for 36 hours

i've been to both langkawi and koh samui and out the too i preferred koh samui because it was slightly less developed by tourism and if you scout around you can find some real gems in terms of beaches and hotels. If i was to go to an island in malaysia it would have to be pangkor, the only way to get there is by car and very few tourists end up there and it still has cheap five star hotels.

Out of the cities it would be a tie between kuala lumpur and singapore, both of them are great cities, singapore is cleaner and more developed but kuala lumpur is cheaper and has more charicter. I was very overwhelmed by bangkok because of how busy and dirty it was, if your into historics then kuala lumpur can offer a just as rich experience without all the risks of going to bangkok.
