Is it just me is this game taking forever to come out ??

I loved the first 3 (wasn't too sure on blood dragon).3 was by far my favourite though. I just hope the multiplayer is slightly better on this one, this being the reason im going with the xb1 instead of my pc this time , Im guessing more people will be online on xb1 !!

Some 30 minutes of PS4 gameplay and impressions here.

I was looking forward to this, but this vid has put me off a bit, as it looks much the same as FC3 which I got bored of really quickly... though it looks a bit nicer. I'll wait and get it cheap at some point. I guess if you loved FC3 then you'll love this too.
 
I loved the first, hated the second and never wanted to play FC3 but I got it for free on PS+ and I loved it, a thoroughly great game, very enjoyable and great story and I will be getting this one.
 
I'm not going to watch any videos as I want to be surprised but do they carry over features like -

*climbing radio towers to reveal the map
*collecting leaves to make syringes
*skill upgrades in some new form (obviously they can't reuse the tattoo thing which was quite clever)
 
I really enjoyed the 3rd one, And this looks more of the same. Which in a way is a shame, but I don't suppose you can do that much with the FPS genre, other than improve visuals and add in a few missing mechanics.

It's the reason I don't really play the genre.
 
I was ready for buying this game but the more time I've had to wait for it, the less I'm borthered about playing it. I've only played FC3 but from what I've seen, it's very similar to that. Just change the characters and location, add a few new aminals and there you go, FC4.
 
I never finished FC3 but I cannot remember why. I had it on PC, but will likely pick up FC4 on Xbox One. It's really looking good. Although AC:Unity and GTA V come out around the same time!
 
I loved FC3, up there with GTA5 in terms of replayability for me. I guess open world/sandboxes are my bag. My only issue was the lack of enemies after you defeat all the outposts. After you did that, you rarely saw groups of more than 3 or 4 at a time.

I quite liked FC3, but never finished it.

Im probably not the best judge to be honest as I never played 2. I loved 1 when it broke on to the scene.

Basically It started you off just outside an enemy camp and you needed to retrieve some data inside it. You could either covertly go in and get it with minimal hostility but this seemed impossible as I kept being seen or go in all guns blazing. The graphics were very poor and "blocky" and it just felt very samey. Although it was fun mounting and elephant and bursting down the doors with a machine gun blowing people down, but it soon lost its appeal.

It could turn out to be good, but it did not seem like anything new. The shear fact I got bored after 25 mins gameplay is not a good sign.
