What's the fastest USB flash drive you can currently buy? Around 8GB capacity.

I'm looking for something that I can put my Vista/7 install files on to then install to my SSD.

I'm out of touch with flash drive speeds now but you used to pay quite a premium for the 'fastest' flash drives.

So if it's a one-off install I'd just get a nice cheap one and be patient. There'll just be faster/larger/cheaper ones coming out by the time next year when it's reinstall time again..

So can't really help with recommendations, sorry.

I got 2x Corisar Flash Voyager Mini 4GB when they were on offer for £3.99 I think, fits the windows 7 install on it just about, and i've used it to install RC on two machines without any issues, plus it was way way faster than a DVD. So, just about any drive will do, the basic Corsair ones are good and reasonably priced.
