Fastboot and Windows 8.1

Anyone having issues with fastboot and Windows 8.1?

Trying to root my HTC One and the PC doesn't seem to recognise the device - failed enumeration error in device manager. It detects and installs drivers fine when the phone is running normally - just fastboot that has the issue.

Some people are having problems with 8.1.

Also make sure you have updated HTC sync.
