faster or not ?

bit of a stupid question. Yes its faster and they overclock to. Also its DX10 so will be better in the long run to
Overall yes the 8600GT is the faster card but except for a few games like oblivion and crysis and the likes where the 8600GT is 2-3x faster its only slightly faster in most games... tho the margin will widen with newer titles which take advantage of the much better shader capabilities on the newer card.
Better off to wait for the imminent release of the newer Nvidia cards.

Sorry if it was a stupid question but the 6800ultra was a £300 card not so long ago & the 8600gt can be bought for £56, so just wanted to be sure.....
