Well I thought I knew what I as doing and it would catch him unawares, but I bet he has seen plenty of cocky lads florring it in a corner hopeing for 'OOOZ MATE DRIFT INIT' and naturally cut the throttle.
Still he was fine after I explained what I was trying to do, and that I had driven quite a number of cars fast before. Then taught me how to handle the car better.

This is a hard one.
Acceleration wise its easily a win for the Mustang. 0-100mph in sub 8s with a good launch.
Top speed wise, well if you were daring enough the Saleens and Saleen do say they are capable of 200mph when pushing past 500BHP, but I doubt this claim, I've done 165mph and even though it felt rock solid on the road there were vibrations becoming apparrent.
So I'd say the CSL, people say they are good for around 180ish and I don't doubt it as I did close to 160ish indicated in mine and it was not breaking a sweat.
Other reasonably quick car was the modded R34 GTR Vspec I had for a month.
For me its all about acceleration, anything past 140mph is not really needed so its more down to how quick it gets there and on the roll acceleration and when it comes to on the roll acceleration there is not much that can keep anywhere near the Mustang apart from other modded cars, bikes or cars costing a lot of money.

One memorable one was a mates Lotus Carlton.
Still faster was a fully modded Lancia Thema 8.32 (Ferrari engined) that was amazing, best street sleeper ever.
Lastly was a lap on a track of a Lancia Delta s4. 2 litres of both turbo and supercharged 600bhp engine in a car that weighed next to nothing.
