fastest cpu with badaxe 2

hi

ive been on the intel website and it says core2 quad . does that mean all the quads including yorkfield and kentsfield

If it supports the 1333FSB cpus then yeah, you should be fine.

This combination is not compatible.

I'm actually a bit surprised by this, I expect they mean "at the moment" rather than "permanently". But as it stands, Conroe/Kentsfield only.
