My wife is a photographer and generates a lot of data from the shoots she completes.
All images to be edited are first copied from the camera memory cards to SDD and are worked on. Backups are taken on a regular basis using a sync application from the SSD to a Toshiba 3TB internal backup drive. This backup drive is also backed up to another seperate server over gigabit ethernet.
The speed of the copy from SSD to backup drive is around 100MB/sec.
What drive of 4TB or more could I replace the backup drive with that would increase the copy speed? A 4TB SSD would be ideal but would be a waste. I just want to increase the transfer speed as much as I can without going SSD for a backup drive.
