This is a complicated one, as everyones opinions are wildly different. I don't think my kids eat a paticularly healthy diet, yet to some families we're being very strict on them.
Mine don't eat veg everyday. 3 or 4 times a week maybe, mixed in with the usual spag bol, and of course nuggets and chips now and again. We feel it's a nice balance.
My sister though feeds her kid on nothing other than nuggets and chips.
Mine go to mcdonalds on birthdays. My cousins kids, once a week every week.
We both work, I don't think work has anything to do with it. It's knowledge and understanding.
Some people think sausages are healthy.....no, they really do!
and of course if you say anything you get the same old replies
"he's only young"
"he's happy"
"he's a growing boy"
"he won't eat anything else, he's fussy" <-- Fussy!!!! all he knows is nuggets and chips!!
Meh!
