Seems like a bit of an odd situation, I'm not sure I'd be actively reading someone's texts nor ******* off complete strangers on a plane in the first place since I'm generally quite polite to people in that sort of situation. Though assuming I did catch a glimpse of a text message I'm not necessarily going to be 100% sure it is about me and it would seem odd to strike up a conversation based on having read their private messages. I guess maybe you could make sure you dominate the armrest...

You know in Japan you have to have a "weight exam" ever year once you get over a certain age. If your found to be fat you get help on loosing weight. That kind of preventative measure is what's missing in western medicine. You won't find obese people in Japan.
Go and look it up. Some employers there have a limit on how fat you can be.
A sumo wrestler is entirely different. Their fat is only near the surface and there's a lot of muscle underneath (they can pick a regular man up with one arm easily). They constantly maintain the balance through diet and training, they don't sit on a couch and stuff pizzas all day long.

If she didnt fit in her seat she should have paid for two. Right of the guy to complain but didnt have to be rude.
I would have just said something on the lines of "Excuse me, sorry but you are in my seat" and pressed the overhead call button then explained i would like to move as I have no room as my seat was being taken up

Is there any relevance that she booked a seat with extra leg room. As in the leg room is longitudinal, not extra width. Btw, why is latitudinal not a word, but longitudinal is? Or is it a word and i've just never used/heard it..? So many questions.
