Fat thoughts

McDonalds deliver in Dubai.

I don't think it would work that well as the food gets cold within seconds. If you stifle the fries in a container then they go soggy.

McDonalds fries are **** any way. Soggy strips of ****.

all poor ideas, encouraging people to shovel junk into their fat faces is bad.

Humans posses a mushy blob scientifically coined as a brain which allows them to make decisions for themselves. If they want to eat fast food or even be fat then their gift of free will allows them to do so.

I don't buy into this encouragement crap. Until someone pushes your face into the water you're deciding to drink from it yourself, and shouldn't then turn around and scream at the person who led you to it, no matter how delicious they told you it was.

You're accountable for your own life, unless a minor, in which case your guardian(s) is/are accountable.

I enjoy my life and it includes fast food. I call it balance!?

The UK gets stiffed on the good fast foods :(
Five Guys are delicious (burgers), Wendy's are far superior to The Big M (I know some UK spots have Wendy's, but it should be made national!).
Arby's, Taco Bell, Q'doba (my fav!) etc

There aren't any Wendy's places in the UK anymore :( I was really annoyed to find this after I had sampled their wares when I was over in Vancouver and it is the first place we go on the way home from the airport to the inlaws.

Are they all franchises?

McD's, KFC? I know Subway are.

So you could always ask the manager to start it themselves in your area to deliver? They might consider it, probably some lads in their 106s wanting some extra cash would do it. :D

McD's are sometimes franchised, sometimes branches owned by the company.

Some one explain the concept of a franchise to me please  .

In the case of Subway you pay the company (Subway) £50k and are given their stock and branding to make your own store. There is a lot more depth to it, but essentially it's buying a brand name to put behind your business. You have to run the store and make it a sucsess, within the limitations of the franchise agreement. You have to use their products, their stock, their branding etc.

I beleive you also have to pay an agreed amount to the corporation every so often too.

Why are no big fastfood chains allowed into festivals/events? I would jizz myself if there was a small portable KFC serving up a 3 piece meal at festivals!

What are the benefits of franchise?

to the franchisee?

buying into an established brand with national / international presence where your customer knows exactly what they are going to get

buying into a formula proven to work

enjoying the advertising that the parent company makes on behalf of the brand and all franchisees

to the parent

having other people fund your roll out and pay you every step of the way while containing your risk

Why don't British McDonalds do McToasts?!

Basically a cheese and ham toasty, for 1 Euro, but by god they are awesome!
