Really? ah well that's not so great then but yeah will keep it wish-listed.
Yes, but you get the full game on release without having to pay extra. The developer has said the price will increase as more features are added and so that's why I've bought it now.

I saw Mac Worthabuy's review and he listed all the things wrong with but then praised all the good stuff. It seems the good outweigh the bad.
Plus it's only 6 squid.

Thoughts so far... it's very empty. Not what I'd call an RPG. Bad guys are annoying. The ranged ones are way too accurate.

Looks stunning though. Nice vibes wandering around ruins and cliff ledges.

I've got to what I assume is the final boss, or certainly a boss, the minotaur(?) thing. Bloody impossible! I died and haven't played it since.

Visually the game is stunning. The combat is a bit one dimensional, but is satisfying when you dismember the enemies. The ranged enemies are seriously annoying, and there's very little variety in the enemies too.

So yeah, feels like a paid (albeit cheap) tech demo+

A fully fleshed out version of the game would definitely be on my buy list. As I understand it, I own the game now, so in the years to come I guess I'll still have full access. That will be years away though, surely?

I tried it out in the end, looks fantastic, one of the nicest looking games I've seen. Downhill after that unfortunately, very linear and too annoyingly difficult for me to consider in its current state. Even the tutorial mobs took a fair bit of bashing. Refunded but will keep an eye on its development.

<snip video>

100fps at 4K with a 5090 at native res. I'm getting the same with a 5080 with DLSS on Quality and I'd challenge anyone to spot the difference. No stutters either. Say what you like about UE5 and DLSS but we're living in good times.
Beautiful game - my only issue so far is the Benchmark accessed from the settings screen simply doesn't run at all. You click the button, it pauses for a second then continues as if you haven't clicked anything.
