Morning everyone,

Thought starting a thread so people could share what cool things they got for fathers day this year.

Here is what I got for an opening post:

Holy huge image batman

edit: sorry about the terrible relection on the picture...potato phone photos

I'm sure it's well-intentioned, but that's a bit mean isn't it? Suggesting that your father is no longer young enough to be Batman?

daughters got me a national trust membership as my eldest works for them ,let mine lapse and its great when i go to surf chapel porth holywell and crantock for the free parking plus will have a look around afew of their property's again

Both parents tell me never to bother, still always get them something although I've left this late and it hasn't arrived (book on past British racing car and standout designs). :(

I got "Happy Father's Day X" as a text message, at least she remembered this year, last year she was too hung over!

Teenagers! :p

I heard 2 kids coming up the stairs arguing with each other and then tears as they dropped my sausage sandwich on the stairs - great start.

Toblerone and Throntons are still safe as is the usual cards etc.

Nothing... my wife didn't tell the kids it was Father's Day soon. I am currently painting one of the bedrooms. I am a sad puppy :(

Haven't seen my Dad since Christmas, even then it felt awkward going to see him.
They never involve themselves with my life and I never theirs..
Never felt close to either parents really.
One buggered off when I was 6 or 7 (Dad)
leaving with the other who would never interact, chat, involve or otherwise take an interest in my life (as a kid or now)
Depressing day, especially seeing a load of FB posts on the subject where everyone has cards and what not.
