Well apparently we are 5th fattest in the world which is pretty bad. Obviously US is top, Mexico is 2nd but surprisingly (for me at least) australians and kiwis are fatter than us! We have double the proportion of obese people as france.

I'm surprised that the Aussies come so far up the list, my impression of Australian lifestyle is that exercise/sports and the outdoors are a big part of most peoples lives there?

But beer makes you fat.
