My seat leon keeps blowing bulbs on passanger side, it's always the day light running light.

Car has warranty and its been back to stoneacre three times for this alone.

They replaced bulb, 10mins later pop, took it back said the wiring was shorting it so they were always gonna blow, and... Few weeks later gone again same one.

I can't see so many bulbs being duff, me and Mrs have also replaced it ourselves at times. It's had roughly about 7 so far.

Electric wise I'm sure there is something else going on, any ideas?

It's mk3 leon 14 plate, should say we have only had the car itself around 4 months

If they said it was shorting and "always going to blow", then surely the onus is on them to fix it, considering it's got a warranty?

I’d try a dealer that actually knows what they are doing - sounds like Stoneacre don’t have a clue.

Bulbs should fail rarely if the wiring and electrical system is ok.

Warranty, let them worry about it!

I thought I put it in, they claim to have replaced the wiring all ready, just spoke to service team she said it's not right, there collecting car on Thursday.

Sales manager gonna ring me back as I've politely made a complaint.

Service also confirmed its been with them four times all ready, three times relating to this and one time to replace all door side button which failed (ones for windows etc)

Just an update for any one who is fussed, got car back today.

They determined it was entire head lamp faulty and the terminal was burning out. Replaced all of it.

Also due to issues and it going back so much filled car with full tank of petrol, it's next mot and service they will do for free which is due in April.

Happy days (well providing stays fine!)

Nice result(s) all round, credit where it’s due, that’s good customer service imo.
