Hiya,

Can anyone recommend an engine fault code scanner for a 2003 E46 ?

Buy a Carsoft compatible cable from Ebay and then obviously purchase the Carsoft software from your usual software source..

Eek £400 for the version 8.4 of the software o_O

You need version 6.5.

Not a major problem, not even sure the reader will pick ip up, but my rain sensor seems to have stopped sensing!

Auto wipers won't come on.

autolights come on fine, tried numerous times putting key to position one and putting wiper on first notch up.

With the rain we've been getting recently its been a pain.

I cant seem to find the cable needed any pointers ?

Does the carsoft software/cable work with pre 2004 diesels? (not sure if the OP's car is diesel or petrol)

Yes, just doesnt work with newer MOST BUS cars.
