Hi can anyone help please?
Yesterday I was trying to fit a new SATA to my backup system.
It is a Asus A8V with a AMD 64 3000 and an enermax PSU.
After I connect it - the system will no longr boot.
I assumed that I had disturbed something during fitting, os I reseated the ram and the cpu - no better.
I have tried disconnecting all of the ancilliaries so that it is just the bare board and AGP card (I even tried a PCI card) but all that happens is that the fans spin but no vga output is given.
I do not want to swap any parts if possible but my list of suspect parts are - mobo, PSU, CPU or ram, in that order.
Anyone have any other thoughts?
