Faulting Hard Drive?

Hi,
I've just transfered my hardware into a new case and now it's making quite a wierd of noise when loading thing like games/application/webpages.
also could this cause a screen lockup?

i downloaded and installed seatools, when i tried to run it my computer bluescreened.
my hard drive is a samsung so that might be why it bluescreened or because there's something wrong with it.
anyone know a diagnostics software like seatools but for samsung?

i've already found that one and it wont load up, it pops up a dos window for about a second. but thanks.

Have you downloaded the "ISO" one (For CD ROM Drive), burned it to a CD and booted from the CD? I've only guessed you need to boot from the CD by looking at the pictures on the link I posted.

Not to mention it says (searched for "boot" on the page):

Reboot the system by above diskette.
Execute the program by typing A:\Hutil.exe in DOS mode.

However I presume if you download the CD ISO instead, you can just boot from the CD like you would boot from a windows CD to install windows.
