Thought i would give this peice of tech a try enabled gpu, installed the drivers plugged in hdmi cable, and it worked

but if i play any video then drag the window to the igpu i get instant stuttering
its well i wouldnt say stuttering i would say more like jerkyness its not smooth at all also when im watching my cpu cores are going nuts lol its like what you would get if your video was running at the wrong hz its set to 60hz same as desktop still stutters....

Let me get this straight, you've got one monitor on the iGPU and one monitor on the dGPU and you're trying to drag a video which is playing from one to the other?

I have 1 monitor plugged into 1 of my 7950s and the igpu plugged into hdmi out to my 50" plasma

the plasma is stuttering or jerkyness when moving the video from 1 monitor to the plasma
this issue does not happen when i plug both tv and monitor into my 7950s and drag a video over

dragging is fine no stuttering ect or jerkyness but when i go full screen on the plasma on the igpu its not feeling smooth at all.

So yeah what I said, you're trying to drag a video from one GPU to the other. I'm not surprised that isn't working all that well, though I've never tried it myself. It can already be iffy dragging a playing video from one monitor to another on the same card, never mind between GPUs. Might just try it for fun.

What player are you using? That might make a big difference too, try different player(s).

Player is Splash Pro Ex
will try some other players, and report back ;)

Couldnt you just use the 7950 for both your monitor and your TV?

Maybe the intel GPU drivers are conflicting with the Radeon drivers.

I'm just trying it right now, 3x 1920x1024 res: on the left 2x 24" monitors through my 770, on the right my 42" TV on the HD 4600, playing a 6GB .mkv which drags without issue between the monitor and TV. Pretty cool actually.

the reason why i thought i would give this a try is becuse with both plugged into the gpu 1 of my cards goes out of idle state of 300/150 and goes to 500/1450
maxes out my memory speeds constantly im thinking power efficency aswell as with both at 300/150 ect my cards use less power and run cooler. ;)

:)

just gotta figure out the best player and to optimize igpu performance for smooth playback.

as it stands now with using the igpu for playback to my plasma my 2 cards can idle correctly at 33c for one and 35c for the other :D
where as the way i use to have it on my x58 board 1 was idleing at 33c and the other 45-46c due to the gpu going slightly higher the other card stays at 33c also the hotter card maxes out voltage never goes idle @ 1.138v
where as now there both at 300/150 and 0.806v on both voltages :D

Figured out what player is working perfect so far,

Stereoscopic Player 9.0.. no issues with this player so far.

1080p bluray stream file works fine here with stereoscopic player ;)
i find players working perfectly if you disable hardware acceleration :/:/

seems the hardware acceleration is just quite not right with the intergrated gpu might need player updates ect

EDIT OK i spoke to soon, seems stereoscopic is not working either :(
the video is fine plays fine not stuttering good quality, but after about 5-10 minutes the video will stop like its been paused but its not been paused lol

wtf is going on :/ the video is still playing and i can access the software and settings ect but no playback even though its playing :/ stoping the video and playing it again fixes it, i dont think its cause of overheating as the igpu is running stock this is weird lol

EDIT 2 : Ok fixed the freezing issue, was a audio issue with the player i have my audio player set to AISO :D and when i play anything with it then play a video the video gets no audio after i stopped it then played the video no freeze cause audio was working then :D

still i dont know why enabling acceleration causes stuttering/jerky video with igpu shouldnt it be the other way around software vs acceleration seems software works better than acceleration on all fronts lol
