60GB SSD less than 5 months old. Windows showing it as always nearly full but when you actually scan all files its a fresh install with less than 30GB used.

when you go to install windows again it shows the wrong size as available when formatting. The drive is listed as 55.9GB as it should be but when you goto make a new partition and format it shows as more than that.

So even making a smaller partition of around 50gb to be on the safe side whenever windows tries to write the files to the ssd it gets to between 15 and 25% and comes up saying corrupt cannot continue.

Faulty sounding ssd?

Make sure you have the latest version of the Intel SSD toolbox installed, then check for updated firmware from within the toolbox. Finally perform a secure erase and try a clean install again. I have 2 of these drives and no problems to date.

Decided to try it on different pc. No problems at all and it all looks fine and checks out on intel toolbox. very strange but from a few hours research looks like its a random windows error that happens.
