Hi All,

Bit of a random one.

I have purchased the wife a cheap Cricut expression2 cutter/plotter, to operate it it has a touch lcd screen.
The visual side of the screen is fine however the touch part is faulty, its as if the touch past is shifted to the left eg ..123... if I wanted to select number 3 I would have to touch the second '.' or the 1 which means anything to the left of the screen is un-selectable. the maching dose have a screen calibration page where you tap little crosses in the corners but I'm unable to select them. Dose this sound repairable ie new screen. Is this a known fault with touch lcd screens?

Thanks

Does sound like the digitiser and display aren't lined up.

Do you know if it's resistive or capacitive? Are they integrated or is it basically a clear digitiser placed over an LCD? Often with resistive or separate touchscreens there's a gap between components. You might be able to realign them, if you fancy opening it up.
