Faulty mobo?

Found a p8z77-v lx from a couple of years a go and thought to used.

Green light on but nothing else, no start up.

Noticed next to memory slots the Dram led light wouldn't even light up.

Does that confirm faulty?

If so in the bin it goes!

What cpu and memory are you using in the z77 and bios rev?

I had an experience with my h61 and a 3570k and 1866 memory.
Basically it would turn on cpu fan spin up then turn off repeatedly with no post.
I put in a slower stick of 1600 and it booted up to post instantly.
I manually configured my memory in the bios then turned off and put in my 1866.
The system then booted up using the 1866 memory.

I also have a main z68 board so i knew my pentium g530 and 3570k cpu's and memory worked.
