Last week during gaming my system hard powered down, since then its happened 3 times, only happens while playing Path of Exile and thats not an intense game
Cpu temp is only at 60c

Is this a sure sign my power supply is dying?

Could it be a software issue?

    or something else

is there any way of tracking the problem or am i just guessing?

    Is CPU at stock settings?
Removing any overclockings is first thing to check.
Could also lower clocks of graphics card to check if that changes anything.

And that game seems to have history of causing such problems while everything else runs perfectly on that PC.

It's now happening just browsing/ idling in windows

    Gpu at stock,
Haven't lowered overclock yet but would that prove anything as lowering the overclock would also reduce power consumption wouldn't it.

Have a look in event manager first.
