Faulty Quest 3's

Bright green pixels for me on the right lens. Also just finding the software experience rather buggy. I'm guessing it will be improved overtime but it's pretty frustrating to use sometimes.

Once it refused to charge as well until I rebooted and another time kept disconnecting from PC until rebooted. Happened with both official link cable and a different one.

Don't know if mine is faulty or not. Sometimes I get pass through but no menu or anything to see however much I click, and then at some point the menu appears.

Also had this but I'm thinking it's just a software bug.

The one I had delivered on Tuesday had 4 stuck pixels in the left lens, all near the center. The one delivered today is all good so far. I've also noticed having tried these two units is the first one had what I would describe as Mura when looking at a bright plain sky. I can't see that with the one delivered today.

The second unit above has just developed 2 or 3 what looks stuck pixels left of center on the right lens. They were not there when I first got it. I thought stuck pixels were there from day one if present. Looks like another replacement needed although I'm not over confident the next one will be ok.

My 3rd unit appears to have issues with built in speakers where left speaker has much louder mid tones than right one.
It’s most obvious on speech and very annoying.
Don’t know if I should start another RMA, it is getting ridiculous at this point.

Seems risky to send it back again. Maybe try some earphones instead? The Soundcore VR P10 gets pretty great reviews.

Could it be the same as what is described in this thread?

Been a problem for me on my Q2 for ages and seems to affect the Q pro and Q3 too. Shocking that forced updates can ruin a device with no way of rolling back to a working version.

Working older versions. And there are tutorials on youtube on how to install them.
