Faulty XFX Geforce 7900 GTX / No help from XFX

Hi all,

I'm convinced I've got a faulty GFX. Sent them an e-mail on Wedesday and no response. Created a ticket on their helpdesk page and the last response I had from XFX's technicians was Friday afteroon. Their response was to try the usual uninstall/reinstall lark which I had already tried. Still no new info from them and I want to RMA it and get a replacement. I don't seem to be getting anywhere

Also I've noticed OCuk no longer have this graphics card listed on their webby?

I need help :mad:

Thanks for the replies chaps.

I've had it 6 weeks and im 99% positive it's a defect. I've been around for too long to not know when a gfx is caput.

I Borrowed my mates 7800gtx (XFX) today so going to put it in my system tonight. If it works fine I know XFX owe me a new one.

It's my second XFX card but it will be my last. I've had one response since last Wednesday. Pretty stumped what to do now. :mad:
 
Fixed it!!

Went to put my mates 7800 gtx in and noticed that the 4 pin molex connector on my mobo is so close to my 7900 that the cable had come out!

Plugged it in and guess what, no problems!!

Hopefully i'm lucky and have got a card that will show no problems int he future.

XFX customer service still sux0rs :]
