Faulty XR34 ??

Interesting - Was it an issue that was fine for a period but then would consistently do it? Also surely it would happen in desktop use if such were the case, no? Something to consider though - I'll try and figure out some way of testing it. Thanks


It was very random. It would mainly happen in games but did happen a few times whilst watching video and yes it would do it consistently. There were periods of a few days when I thought I had cured it and bang it would happen again repeatedly.

it might not be the drivers, could be something like anti virus software, but i would start with a fresh windows install incase that is curupt

Yep, on a old drive not over witting the current one. If it works, great, at least you know it's a software issue. If it doesn't, it's most likely hardware

Well, I've not had the issue in about a month.. So I'm still not even sure what caused it. I suspect it was a loose internal cable as it stopped after I reinstalled the second Fury X and re-seated every other cable just on the off-chance -- seems to have worked, but who knows :D
