I'm pretty sure there must have been quite a few threads similar to this in the past, if not exactly the same. If theres already one going then please delete, but could'nt find one.

Just interested to know whats your favourite band or artist of all time, or even at this moment in time?

i go through phases... think everyone does...

but i always go back to coldplay. i love them.

i thnk them or faith no more... but i love loads of music to have any as my favourite
 
Used to be Children Of Bodon, currently though for me, In Flames.

I tend to go through phases though, not too long ago, Dog Fashion Disco were my favourite. Machine Head were at some point aswell. No idea who the next band will be though. Shall have to wait and see :)
 
At various points in time, and for very different reasons, I could have said any of:

Oasis
Ocean Colour Scene
Travis
Third Eye Blind

and I'll always go back to The Beatles every now and again - my first ever favourite band and despite owning every one of their albums, I still discover little nuggets that I never really paid attention to before.

Right now though I'm going to have to say Shed 7. Despite splitting up in 2003, they released an album of demos last year that in my opinion knocked the socks off everything else I listened to (including the new Oasis album which I loved). I can't get enough of their stuff at the moment, but I'm putting off buying their back catalogue because I don't want to use it up all at once.

A back catalogue you can look at for years on end with amazement :)
 
i go through phases too

but ill always go back to Daft Punk, legends, id kill for a flights and tickets to coachella to see them play live in april

currently praying for some sort of world tour.

At the moment Sufjan Stevens will take some beating. Although Bright Eyes spent most of last year as my favourite until Illnoise came out.

Queen are probably my favourite band ever thou, not just because I like the music but also because Queen are the first band I can remember listening to when I was about 6ish. Definitely the band that got me into music.
