I was just curious because I've always been a Sean Connery fan but recently I watched Goldeneye and Tomorrow Never Dies and thought they were marvelous.

The lack of car chase in Goldeneye was made up for in style with the one in Tomorrow Never Dies. I think that it was bloody awsome and one of the best pieces of action film I've seen.

Where do you stand with every mans alter-ego? :D

One of the Sean Connery batch.

Faves are Dr No, You Only Live Twice, Diamonds are Forever, but I'm gonna go with From Russia With Love as first choice too.

I like the way it ends up unspectacularly on a train and the gadgets are played down a bit more - that suitcase is ace though. Also seems slightly more romantic than the others.

Can't pick, all of the Connery films are amazing, the other Bond films just seem weak in comparison. Thunderball is probably the only Connery films I don't care so much for.

Oh and Connerys comback film Never say never again.....that was horrible.

Goldeneye is my overall favourite Bond film. I think it had a good story and a great mix of action and special effects without out being too OTT (the last Bond film relied to much on CGI & special effects IMO). A View To a Kill is my favourite "old" Bond film.

Another vote for You Only Live Twice, though I really love the humour in Diamonds are Forever (which was actually the first I ever saw in a theatre).

Diamonds are Forever is probably my favourite, possibly the campest villians of all time, a pretty decent theme song and good Bond girls. It has to be a Sean Connery film as best Bond film and I'm just picking this one as it is the one I remember most off the top of my head.

All the Connery ones, with the best line ever being :-

Old Japanese proverb say, bird not make nest in bare tree referring to his hairy body while bathing with Japanese ladies!

These lines made Bond, hopefully Casino Royale will have a few even though it's a darker Bond.

If Connery, Lasenby, Moore, Daulton and Brosnan were all in a carpark and it was last man standing, Connery or Lasenby would be the only men walking out alive.

How anyone can like Brosnan I really don't know, he's just not tough enough to be Bond and don't get me started on the invisible car......please.

The new Bond looks easily the best since Connery, really hoping this film will deliver.

Favourite Bond film for me is Goldeneye. Fresh, exciting and just the right balance of gadgets, action and characterisation. Everything after that was pap.

Best series has to be the Moore era - just for comedic value.

The funniest thing I've ever heard Moore say was when he admitted that his eyebrow(just the one) had it's own separate agent.

Actually I may have dreamed that whole thing but even if he has never said it he should have. :)
