Personally I think that Origin Of Symmetry is their best, but all of them are great albums.

Funnily enough, the friend at work who got me into Muse said the same thing. I advised him to listen again and now he loves it.

I love all their albums, but i've listened to Origin of Symmetry more than the others.

It figures, they became properly popular after OOS/when Absolution came out so most people don't look too far back.

It's really hard because everything is impeccable except lyrics in some places, bellamy doesn't seem to be extremely original with them at times...

He's said a few times that he sort of just jumbles them together haphazardly around the music

If you listen to early versions of Plug In Baby/Bliss etc the lyrics are quite different

For me it's definitely Kid A, the venture into electronica really revived the ethos and effect of the music. Oh no wait..

i always hated muse but i saw them headline reading festival a few years ago and was so surprised by how good live they were.
