Favourite PC game(s) of the last 10 years?

I don't have VR so can't say how well implemented it is.

Apparently very well, proper decent scale & positioning of wheel, good graphics & immersion. People report lots of falling out of seats trying to lean on the window because they got too immersed, things like that :)

I loved Volgarr. It wouldn't be for everyone though - it's seriously hard, and you need to be happy with a platformer that you have to keep playing and dying until you figure out the layout and method to each level. I used to play a lot of those sort of games in my C64 and SNES days, so it's a nice throwback.

Dead Rising was just amazing. Again, it's a tough game but I loved everything about it. Will go back to it on PC when it crops up in a Steam sale.

Ah ok, didn't know it was hard- looked a bit like it was easy & just going for the ' most amount of zombies on screen in one go ' award - are the sequels any good as well?

Also I grew up on ghosts & goblins/ghouls & ghosts in the 80s, so yea I am used to a challenge :D

Yeah, DR does look a bit silly, but it's actually a properly hardcore game. Despite (possibly because of) my love for the original, I've never played the sequels. From what I understand, though, 3 and (particularly) 4 basically lost their way with losing that hardcore edge and much of the character of the original. The second game is supposed to be decent, though.

Volgarr is a direct homage to ghosts and goblins/ghouls (as well as Rastan). There's even a spooky zombie level.

In that case I mustn't ever get VR as I'm already far too accident prone as it is.

Hmm, many good ones but if I were to just pick a few that had the biggest impact on me...

Witcher 3
Bioshock Infinite
Mass Effect 1
Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer
Guild Wars 2
Skyrim

I was going to say Star wars Jedi Outcast, but then I realised how long ago 10 years is... :(
Jedi Knight series really could do with resurrecting by some developer. It's been so long. :(

If I had to choose just one, it would probably be Fallout New Vegas.

Making up a top 5 in a tier just below it would be Dishonored, Alien Isolation, Dragon Age Origins and Wasteland 2.

Titanfall 2
Shadow of Mordor
Inside
Wolfenstein - The New Order
Fallout 4
Skyrim
Alien Isolation
GTA V
Witcher 3
Batman - Arkham Series
Doom

heh. I've got about 20 games which range from £1-10 sitting in a wishlist & a then about 10 more recent titles which are more expensive. Either way its like a charity shop gaming renaissance at my house :p

Started playing mass effect last night for the first time. Ok, so the graphics are a bit ropey, and the dialogue options (in the first one at least) arent quite 'there' but not bad for £1.50 :D

Its a bit sad that the modding community didnt get much of a chance with re-texturing it or ENBs. - I would love to have this but on a level of modding like bethesda - games like skyrim look amazing still, and loads of missions keeps me playing. (skyrim is one of the games I did get a chance to play a bit over the years)

But yeah, great lists guys
