Favourite Sport?

[Shrapnel]

Why is the Favourite Sport field compulsory in the User Control Panel? Doesn't really seem relevant to this message board? This isn't exactly an athletics forum.

[Nitefly]

I'm pretty sure it's not compulsory...

Edit - oh you mean it's always there? It's just so we can show our favourite watersports to make life easier in 'on the water'.

[Theophany]

There is one correct answer to that question on the User CP. It's there entirely for profiling purposes.

I want to think that this has taken you ten years to type. Confirm/Deny?

[Spuj]

My favourite sport is basketball.

[Cosimo]

It’s there to differentiate between men, boys, geeks and nurds.

[Von Smallhausen]

It's so we can sort the jocks from the nerds, when the Nazi zombie apocalypse arrives.

This.

[anything I don't mind]

My favourite sport is indoor girls volleyball.

[Maccy]

Did you know, that if you enter the correct sport then you get access to a special forum? I kid you not...

[Cosimo]

My favourite sport is indoor girls volleyball.

That classifies you as a girl.

[PapaLazaru]

It is to easily spot dumb returnee's who always put the same slightly odd sport down.
