With the death of prince it got me thinking of my Favourte Singer/Group so i wil share mine.

Depeche mode absouloutly love them Also love Erasure sort of tells u what era im from.

George michael as a singer i think is fantastic. Wham.

Curentlly am a big fan of Sam Smith.

Maybe im gay, gonna have to ask the wife.

So tell me whats yours.

I have really liked Belinda Carlisle from her Go Go's days and through her solo years. I think she's got a great voice.

I also like Dido as I like her melancholic songs.

For me a great singer is greatly booster by being a guitar hero, so it's hard not to love James Hetfield and Matt Bellamy.

There are some "great" singers that are popular because they are quirky, like Thom Yorke... but as much as I like Radiohead his wailing can be awful live. But then there are those with personality and a unique voice like Axl Rose who are sensational.

It's also hard to differentiate great singers from those with merely great songs.

Tough one on the fav singer, if it's based on vocals rather than songs...probably one of these but it really does depend on my taste on a specific day. Not to mention are we judging live versus 'autotuned' radio versions...

New Order and a japanese punk band called bloodthirsty butchers are my all time joint favourites.

Others I really love are Number Girl, The Chameleons, Joy Division and Lostage.
