Just watched this tonight and i have to say i really enjoyed it.

It stays pretty true to the original episode and some of the actors were great.

The guy who plays Basil was easily the best followed by the chap who played the spoon salesman - both played the charavters really well. Polly wasnt too bad but i wasnt overly keen on the person playing Cybil. And the lady playing Mrs Richards didnt have the same bite as the original character either.

But overall i enjoyed it and would deffo recommend to fans of the original.

Sounds like a mix of episodes/characters as the spoon salesman and Mrs Richards are two different stories
Yeah theres elements of several episodes rolled into one show. Theres the Germans and the major with the gun and the rat as well

The problem I tend to have with these type of stage shows is it's mainly just repeating jokes you've seen from the TV series.

I saw Spamalot in New York in 2005 and it just a watered down version of the film.

Yeah I saw it as well and enjoyed it, but I do find that repetition aspect very odd about these kinds of shows.

Having a bunch of people sat around you who, paraphrasing, are saying "I can't wait for joke X to come, I am going to **** myself laughing when they say the line" was quite a weird experience for me.

For me, if I've heard the joke before twenty times, I don't get much additional experience from seeing it performed live.
