FBI raided the neighbour's house today

Once I was sending some money to a friend via Western Union. I used to do it over the phone and then the friend had to go to the Western Union nearby place.

But on this occasion the employee appeared to fast track my transaction compared to how my previous transactions happened.

I found out that the transaction was sent without the proper security checks being done. The next day 2 FBI agents were parked outside the WU and followed the friend back to her house. They knocked on her door to ask her about the transaction. How she knew me etc.

Yeah, but did the nose candy still turn up?

I once had a laptop in for repair that was apparently stolen from a nearby local authority. It must have been a slow day as they sent a whole van load of police. Not the FBI tho.

I can remember seeing 2 neighbours houses get raided by the police when I 1st moved in with the missus 15 years ago the 1st house they raided was the wrong house he didn't mind tho he got a new door out of it

A large, fancy house in the quiet village my parents live once got raided by armed police. Apparently he was an arms dealer lol. Told the locals he was an antiques dealer.

Op update pls. What do you suspect based on your individual judgements about your neighbours. Pls provide gossip.

Lol. Well I'm beginning to suspect fraud of some sort. He asked different people to call him different names. I now know the family name so will see if I can find anything in arrest/warrant documents. (Not sure if FBI do that, but local do).

I'm taking a guess with this one, but it might be related to this drug sting operation: https://www.newsbreak.com/philadelp...ring-17-arrested-43-pounds-of-drugs-seized-ag

Seems like small fry in the drug world to me.
Gotta pretend like they achieving something.

These raids are worse than useless because all that happens is that deaths go up and new dealers arrive to fill the demand. At some point it just becomes a cynical bookkeeping exercise by law enforcement looking to justify their enormous budgets.
