It says it needs a Geforce 5, will a FX5700 work. As for the CPU & Mem. req. I am geting a new Motherboard put in soon. Joining the modern age accept for this stinken 56k. The guys at the local WISP are pricks, so they won't come put highspeed in!!

same again, i know a guy on a 5200.

assuming your cpu and mem are ok you should be ok. there is also a box to tick that puts less strain on the pc but increases loading times. cant remember what it is tho.

It will run but performance will be pretty dire. Make sure you have it in 640x480 min settings.

Should play OK on 56k although it will obviously be a bit laggy.

If you have 2gig of RAM something like a 6600gt will run it at a decent ish res on fairly good settings.
Ram is a big decider in this game.

Trust me, I would get high speed if I could. The only source here is a WISP & the guys that work there are jerks. They won't come & go to the top of a small hill here to check for a signal, been calling them back & forth for months.

:( Will it play at all on 56k? The cheap phone companies & cable companies should be ashamed of themselves for not having broadband in more areas. It would be one thing if the house was in the middle of a huge farm, but it isn't. This is the US, not some 3rd world country.

I'm afraid the US is like a 3rd world country when it comes to broadband. I was shocked when I moved here at how poor the service was.

Anyway, it will run on 56k but it really won't be much fun. You'll be at least 100ms behind everybody else, which in a fps game is a lifetime. You'll be in for a very frustrating time :(

Yeah i would imagine so. And not 100% sure about the 56k on multi prob be a bit all over the place, can't be 100% sure as i haven't tried the game on 56k ... 8meg BT for me.

I know, prez. Clinton was trying to pass a rurel (sp?) broadband bill, but Prez. Crazy got in there before that got done. I played quake3 with a 300 ping & did ok. Use to play Quake on a 16k connection & I was on the Quake Champions Legue. My name started out as Deathman changed to Deathstom. I am hoping to move out with my sister for broadband. I think Sprint cell phones can get internet here, not sure what the speed is though. The phone company here replaced the Microwave tower & it hasn't seemed the same since. I wish we could get the WISP guys to check for signal on a small hill by the house, but we been dealing with them on the phone for like 6 months & they just wouldn't come back to check. They lied to us about the site being down for a few days, someone else called for us & asked if the site was down & was told no. They got a angry call then.
