Fed up :( Insurance

phew.. Lot of money. I got my renewal the other day. 2.0 Accord Sport (03) market value, 9 years NCB 32. Quote was £256.00 fully comp.

Even on payments thats coming in less then £25 a month. Feel sorry for some of you, I've never paid more then £700 for insurance. I feel lucky now.

I don't think mine is too bad.

2.5V6 barge, 22, 2 years NCB.

<£700 FC with NU

Mum's is a bargain, although she has silly amount of NCB... £290FC on an RX-8 190

I'm paying £800 TPFT on a group 20 Toyota Soarer 2.5 TT. Quite impressed with it really (Admiral.)

I'm 23 with 2 yrs NCB.

I have a quote saved for a 10 month bonus accelerator policy with admiral, high risk area FC 22yrs old 0ncd Saxo VTR 1K not to bad.

You are really starting to make me want a soarer :( Supra engine with a luxury interior, has to be for the win! How are you finding the handling?

I'm effectively paying £204/month to insure my cars. But I paid both their insurance in one go so no monthly interest for me!

To the OP: Do you drive the Landy a lot? If you drive it less than 30days a year, you could go for day insure (although this is a bit of a pain). Otherwise, if possible, get your parents to insure themselves on it and go under them as a named driver - this should be fine as long as you explain that you're the main driver.

wow Committed, I thought I was paying the most over the odds!

Insurance for a grand is a dream! £1680 TPFT atm

sorry I'm a bit confused with confused and committed and others :/
I'm in Ireland hence the cost and I have a claim from a few years ago.
I can insure a 205 1.6GTI for the same price as my Mini which just doesnt make sense!
