Fed up with your onion and garlic powder clumping? All you need is this one simple hack........

There are use cases for garlic powder where fresh garlic would burn. So I don't agree it's clear cut one is better than the other. It depends what you're cooking! I love garlic and get through a few bulbs a week

Yea plus dry rubs, or most marinades really.

I'll often use fresh and powdered garlic in a curry.
 
My other option is to take a spoonful out of that jar of Lazy Garlic out of the fridge. I keep it next to a jar of Lazy Chilli and Lazy Ginger.
 
To stop the clumping, don't pour it out directly from the jar into steaming food/pans, where some steam will enter the jar and make it all moist.

Also, freezers have moisture in them, but it's frozen, they slowly dry out anything in them, freeze drying them, hence freezer burn.
