Survey Monkey this, feedback sheet that, what are my strengths and development areas the other...I'm sure I spend half my working life filling (or being asked to) these darned things in, and that's without counting the increasing scourge of internet survey requests.

I know it's the done thing that someone should ask for feedback etc., but if I add up the hours I spend filling in surveys for something or other, most of which was just like a team offsite or a person I've worked with once, I think I could almost hire someone just to do them for me.

Drives me nuts.

I guess people will say 'well I have to read your posts and instead of writing this I could have given someone some more feedback', but I felt like ranting so there.

On the bright side, I just won 1,600 posts due to having Croatia in the World Cup sweepstake. Exciting .

I only ever give feedback on here or ebay. Never bother with the text or amazon ones or anything. And rarely leave reviews unless I feel a product doesn't do what it says 'on the tin'. You don't have to if you don't want to.

I think he was referring to 360 type feedback in the workplace.

It irks me when sellers on Amazon email me requesting feedback and if I don't they sometimes follow up with another, asking how I'm getting on with the item and to add feedback if it's positive. Said item is usually something like hooks, or anything equally dull that I don't want to be wasting time opening emails about and then leaving feedback for.

I'd much rather be here, whining about it all instead :D
