Feeder - The Singles

According to Grant the new stuff he's writing is more along the lines of Shatter and the older material, although it'll sound a bit different to old Feeder due to Mark being on drums.

I decided to put Comfort in Sound on earlier after this thread - that album is utter class!

Although I think Comfort In Sound is a great album I wish it had never been written under those circumstances. It would never have been the album it was without Jon dying unfortunately.

I have Echo Park, swim, polythene, pushing the senses, comfort in sound and yesterday went too soon, but im still going to buy this lol :D

You should get Picture of Perfect Youth, you're missing the excellence of some of their B sides.

None of my copies are signed. But if i could choose any cd to be signed it'd have to be either YWTS, or Echo Park, my two fave cd's :D Also i wanted shatter as i heard it on GT4. :p

I've had this discussion before and I really like it because it shows the continuing development and consistant talent of Feeder but I actually prefer the later stuff, CiS being my favorite album (although you are right about the circumstances behind it).

It seems to me that bands write their best stuff when the are being sincere, for most this is the material they release on their first 1 or 2 albums, because of the circumstances Feeder got a second lease of life and a new sinerity which comes across in wacking great lumps on CiS and Pushing the Senses. I'm not knocking the older stuff, its still great but I think later Feeder learned a rare skill, the ability to make what are intrinsicy heavy rock songs sound graceful and delicate.

Hey guys,

I am looking to get some more music of iTunes. I have previewed some of the album and some of it isok and i tend only to get the tracks I really like.

Which tracks should I be getting, I love the "Just the way I'm feeling" track.

What tracks should I be getting?

Thanks...
